The Atlanta Hawks signed free agent guard, Aaron Holiday, to a one-year deal worth the veteran’s minimum.
Holiday bounced around the league last year, playing with Washington, and Phoenix. Holiday averaged 6.4 points, 2.6 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 0.7 steals per game in 16.2 minutes per game. The former-UCLA Bruin shot a respectable 44.2% from the field, and 38.9% from beyond the arc.
Holiday should contend for the back-up point guard role behind Trae Young, with Delon Wright signing with the Washington Wizards. Holiday is the brother of Jrue and Justin Holiday who are also in the NBA.
