The Atlanta Hawks topped the Miami Heat Tuesday night in Miami by a final tally of 116-105. This was the first of four NBA Play-In Tournament match-up’s, and the Hawks’ victory will see them head to Boston Saturday to take on the second-seeded Celtics, in a best-of-seven series.

While Trae Young led the team in scoring (finishing with 25 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists), he was one of 8 Hawks to reach the double-figures mark tonight. Dejounte Murray added 18 points, Saddiq Bey finished with 17 points, and Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 14 points. Onyeka Okongwu finished with 12 points and had 4 rejections. John Collins and Jalen Johnson chipped in with 10 points each. While Clint Capela did not make a huge impact in the scoring column, the big man finished with 21 rebounds – with 8 of those coming on the offensive end – and was a huge factor in the Hawks finishing with a +20 advantage in second-chance points.
