Atlanta Hawks All-Star, Trae Young, was cleared for basketball activities, after missing the last six weeks due to a torn ligament in his left finger. This is welcome news for the Hawks, who have done a good job of treading water in his absence. Atlanta is 11-10 since Young went down with the injury in late-February.
The Hawks are making a late season push to host a play-in game, trailing the Chicago Bulls by a game for the ninth slot. The Hawks have four games remaining, and Young has a chance to make his return Tuesday night against their division rival, Miami Heat.
Young was averaging 26.4 points and 10.8 assists per game, along with 1.4 steals per game, a career-high. He was shooting 42% overall and 37% from three.
