Cam Reddish’s name has been a hot topic the last 24 hours and more reports are circulating social media as it seems like our Atlanta Hawks could potentially ship Cam Reddish on draft night.
The Atlanta Hawks have been on the phone with the Indiana Pacers prior to tonight’s NBA draft. Trade talks centered around Hawks forward, Cam Reddish & the 20th overall pick have been discussed for Indiana’s 13th selection.
This could be a very interesting move for both franchises.
For the Hawks, to move a potential long-term fit and a young player like Reddish, only to avoid a non-rookie deal, seems incredibly shortsighted. Hawks GM Travis Schlenk does have a knack at nailing draft picks, so if the Hawks are to make a move like this, they have a player in mind.
For the Pacers, Reddish would be added to a suddenly, very young and talented nucleus. Adding to the core of Caris Lavert , Domantas Sabonis, & Malcolm Brogdon, this could end up forming a formidable lineup for the upcoming season.
