Young averaged a double-double of 24.2 points and 11.6 assists, appearing in 76 games this season. He finished with 51 total double-double’s.
It is the third time in his career that he has led the league in total assists. His season-high was 22 against the Cleveland Cavaliers in November.
Young averaged a full 1.4 assists more than is next closest competition, which was Denver’s, Nikola Jokic, at 10.2. Young also was a clear by a 164 assists (880 total) in comparison to Nikola Jokic’s 716 season assist total.
